The best routes we have found so far.

  • Phuket

Best runs include Patong Beach to Paradise Beach (a hilly 12km out-and-back) and Bang Wad Dam (6.4km loop). Phuket Old Town offers a great walking or running route through historic streets.

  • Bangkok

Top running spots are Lumphini and Benchakitti Parks (both parks are linked for a 8-10km loop with city views) and a scenic 4km loop around the Grand Palace and temples. Early mornings are best to avoid heat and crowds.

  • Penang

Running or walking through George Town is the best way to explore its colorful streets, heritage buildings, and vibrant street art. This route is flat, making it ideal for a casual jog or a cultural stroll. Penang Hill also offers some great walking or running options.

  • Kuala Lumpur

KL’s best running routes are through KLCC Park, Titiwangsa, and Perdana Botanical Gardens. A one-way scenic run from Chinatown to KLCC offers a mix of history, architecture, and green spaces, best done early morning.

  • Singapore

A runner’s paradise with stunning routes like the Marina Bay loop and Singapore River run. A quieter, nature-filled alternative is from Kent Ridge Park to Mount Faber, offering lush greenery and city skyline views.

  • Melbourne

Great options include Albert Park Lake, the Yarra River, and St Kilda Beach. A top sightseeing loop starts and ends at the MCG, covering iconic landmarks like Parliament, Federation Square, the Shrine, and the Botanic Gardens.

  • Nice

A stunning coastal city for runners. Our favorite route was through the Old Town, followed by a climb up Colline du Château, rewarding with panoramic Mediterranean views and a scenic descent back into the city.

  • Sydney

A hidden gem is the Watson’s Bay to Rose Bay run, with spectacular harbor views. Other must-run routes include the Sydney Botanic Gardens and the famous Bondi to Coogee coastal path, perfect for walking or running.
